Hardy Native Bulbous Perennial, usually of hedgerows and open woodland; with many bright yellow flowers on lax stems above kidney-shaped foliage in March to May.

Wildlife Value:
Very attractive to Bees, Beetles and Flies.
Other Interest:
Was thought to cure hemmoroids; hence the colloquial name of “Pilewort”.
