Hardy Native Perennial, usually of Hedgerows, Open Woodland, and Wasteland, with tall panicles of small, brown flowers on tall, stout stems, above bold, spear shaped foliage in June to September.

Wildlife Value:

Very attractive to Bees, food plant of the Mullein Moth caterpillar.
