Hardy Native Small Deciduous Shrub, usually of Verges and Heaths; with spikes of small, yellow pea flowers on tall, branched leafy stems above delicate, shiny green foliage in May to August.

Very attractive to Bees; food plant of the Green Hairstreak butterfly andGrass Emerald Moth caterpillars.
