Hardy Native Herbaceous Perennial, usually of grassland, verges and arable land; with tall spikes of bright yellow flowers on tall, leafy stems above bold, deeply cut foliage in June to August.

Wildlife Value:

Very attractive to Bees and Flies. A food plant of the Grizzled Skipper Butterfly and Snout Moth caterpillars.
